My childhood was in Milan, where the rich culture of the Italian arts had a profound influence on my life; the abundance of Renaissance painting and sculpture was the inspiration for my passion for drawing. In my early teens I moved to Barcelona, where the work of Picasso and Gaudi further captured my imagination and desire to paint.

I left Spain to study Illustration at Harrow School of Art. A solid knowledge of figure drawing, combined with study of artists techniques ranging from Old Masters to Contemporary, was the best foundation for work in any style or media: I also developed an interest in 3-dimensional and multi-media studies. Cultural and creative art became a mix of illustration, sculpture, collage and writing: an eclectic mix of influences with a dose of irreverent humour!
Now I work full time at The Chapel Gallery, where I also advise customers on framing and mounting the work that is brought in. I enjoy making bespoke frames; these can be painted or gilded to the customer's specification. These projects are really fun, because the only limit is their imagination…
I also have my studio workshop in the gallery, where I paint, sculpt, write, and generally indulge in creative chaos!
